    The corporate grind that once drove Dominic and Steve now felt misaligned with what they wanted for their families. In 2024, they made a decision that surprised their colleagues: they would leave their established careers, sell their homes, and relocate their families to Florida to build something more meaningful together.

    Once settled in Florida, they encountered an everyday frustration that would change their trajectory. Despite Florida's year-round growing climate and agricultural reputation, finding fresh, quality lettuce and leafy greens was surprisingly difficult. Most options in stores were shipped from California or Arizona, arriving wilted and flavorless. Here they were in a state with perfect conditions for growing fresh produce, yet they couldn't find a decent salad at the grocery store.

Rather than just accept the situation, they decided to solve it.

 

    That's when they discovered controlled environment agriculture (CEA). This method allowed them to grow pesticide-free greens year-round in an AI-controlled setting, producing consistently fresh, flavorful lettuce with longer shelf life and better nutritional content than conventional farming methods.

    

    The economics were compelling: The system is designed to be 30x more productive than traditional outdoor farming, while using 90% less water and eliminating weather-related crop losses that plague conventional agriculture.
